Kyle Siewert, MD FAAOS

Board Certified Orthopedic Surgery
Fellow American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons
Volunteer Faculty Indiana University School of Medicine

Making a tangible difference in his patient’s quality of life is what Dr. Siewert loves best about treating patients who often are going through a very difficult time because of pain and the loss of mobility. Focusing on hip and knee problems and sports injuries, his loyal patients praise his surgical skills as well as his kindness, compassion and the time he takes to explain potential treatment options. Dr. Siewert attributes his interest in becoming an orthopedic surgeon to his love for sports from a young age including playing basketball for Blue River Valley High School located near New Castle in Henry County. After completing his orthopedic residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Dr. Siewert went on to Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado for an observership in complex sports medicine surgery learning from some of the best hip and knee surgeons in the world.  A graduate of Purdue University and the Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Siewert and his family returned home in October of 2012 when he began his practice with Henry County Center for Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine.

Hillary Lee, PA-C

Board Certified National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants

Hillary is a physician assistant who has worked closely with Dr. Siewert since 2014 in caring for his patients.  An excellent clinician with an amazing ability to connect with patients, she often sees them for their initial visit, arranges for diagnostic testing such as an X-ray, MRI or CT Scan and provides Dr. Siewert with her evaluation and diagnosis. She performs injections as needed and assists Dr. Siewert with most surgical procedures. Hillary typically sees patients at their first postoperative visit, usually about 1-2 weeks after surgery.  She helps make sure patients are on the right track in their early recovery and answers questions about what to expect in the weeks ahead before they return to see Dr. Siewert.  Hillary is compassionate towards all patients and finds such joy seeing patients achieve their goals of reducing pain and improving their ability to regain the mobility they had lost. Hillary and her husband, Dennis, have two young children.  In her spare time she loves to write and has recently published her first children’s book.

Mindy Logson, MA

Mindy is a medical assistant who works with Dr. Siewert and Hillary.  Mindy has a tremendously important role in caring for Dr. Siewert’s patients.  She will be the first and most important point of contact when a patient decides to have a surgery, specifically handling all the information about necessary preoperative testing, appointments, and surgery scheduling details.  Mindy also helps Dr. Siewert by applying casts for patients in the office, following up on patient phone calls, questions, and lab results, as well as many other important aspects of taking great care of patients.  Mindy knows how much Dr. Siewert cares about his patients and she handles every detail of a patient’s care as if it was for her own family member. Mindy and her husband, Josh, have two sons.  Mindy can often be found in the stands at her sons’ athletic events cheering on her boys.
